Lung Cancer - Ayurvedic Treatment plugs


Lung cancer is responsible for the most deaths from cancer in men and women around the world. Lung cancer can occur in part any of the lungs, but almost 90% is supposed to stem cells epithelial linings of the Airways and for this reason, lung cancer is sometimes called Bronchogenic carcinoma. Cancer arising from the plura is called mesothelioma. An age over 65, active or passive smoking, exposure to asbestos fibres and gas radon, lung diseases, air pollution and lung cancer family history, are factors of risk for this condition. Lung cancer can be divided into lung cancer, small cell (DOMINATE) and non-small cell (NSCLC) lung cancer. NSCLC is more divided adenocarcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and basal large cell carcinoma. Common symptoms include cough, blood in the saliva, repeated respiratory infections, chest pain, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, and dyspnea. Surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the standard line of treatment for lung cancer.

Ayurvedic medications can be given as additional therapy to standard line of treatment for lung cancer. Medications such as Suvarna-Malini-Vasant, Madhu-Malini-Vasant, Vasant-Kusumakar-RAS, Suvarna-Sameerpannag-RAS, Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Suvarna-Bhasma and Heerak - Bhasma are used to control the tumor and to improve the immune status of the body.Dashmooladi-Ghrut Haritaki - Avaleha, Chyawanprash-Avaleha and Bhallatak-Asav are also used for this purpose.
